"A job search created by health professionals, for health professionals. We are dedicated to connecting Australian communities with the allied healthcare workers they need."
Our Story
In Reach Co. was founded in 2022 by Physiotherapists David Dimech and Clare Austin.
Whilst building In Reach Co., David & Clare worked and travelled around Australia, providing Physiotherapy services to rural and remote communities, under their own mobile business – Project Physio. They have seen first hand how a lack of Allied Health Professionals in regional, rural and remote areas can negatively impact a community.
They also faced challenges in easily sourcing Physiotherapy positions, yet came across many site managers struggling to find staff to fill roles.
In Reach Co. is their solution.
Ambassadors
Kara Ballard
Student Ambassador
Physiotherapy Student
Kara Ballard is a physiotherapy student in South Australia. She is very interested in the health of individuals from rural and remote communities and is eager to join the workforce early next year to provide physiotherapy to these populations and encourage her university colleagues to do the same.
“I am extremely excited to be an ambassador for In Reach Co. At university, we are taught about the health disparities that exist for those in rural and remote communities but there is little allied health infrastructure to bridge that gap. It is wonderful to be a part of building that bridge and creating a practical solution to a real-world problem”
“As a student, the idea of rural and remote healthcare for placements and as a new graduate can be daunting. In Reach Co takes the daunting out of that experience and makes it exciting. It makes the idea seem in reach!”

She loves to call herself a “triple threat” AHA. As she is Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy and Social Work qualified. She has worked within the Riverina area as an AHA for almost four years, as well as in Canberra, supporting a range of allied health professionals and really growing her love and passion for Occupational Therapy.
